Due to increased security IIS no longer serves any files found within its web folders. Each file type served by IIS now needs its mime type defined.

The Lucid Phoenix applet requests key files that need their mime type defined in order for it to be hosted on an IIS 6 server.

They are:

.lpxk

The mime type for this file should be set as: ‘octet-stream'.

For further information on this and how to set mime types on IIS please see:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;326965

If this has not been implemented the Lucid Phoenix applet player will throw the following error 'missing resource'.

Also see the equivalent article for the Lucid3 Applet Player.
